Description

The BOM Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of the company's Bill of Materials. The candidate will be closely collaborating with our Product Development, Demand Planning, and Purchasing departments to ensure optimal management of materials and components used in our products.

Responsibilities

• Work with Purchasing and Demand Planning to assure accurate costing, sourcing, and planning based on the BOM.
• Coordinate with Operations to implement changes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to identify all the materials needed for each product.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and inconsistencies in the BOM and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of the BOM in the Great Plain system.
• Regularly audit BOMs to validate and ensure accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in BOM processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide cross-functional training on BOM procedures and best practices.

Education and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Great Plain systems and proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in Boca Raton office
• 5+ years of experience managing Bill of Materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
