As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be part of the technology team responsible for data analysis, datamining, report development, automation and customer requirement gathering. The ideal candidate self-motivated with a proven success managing stakeholders at all levels. The Data Engineer will support building state-of-the-art business intelligence solutions that deliver business insights and support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholders and business users to define data and analytic requirements.
• Be able to understand the context for the data well enough to clean and transform it into a form useful for subsequent analysis
• Experience in SQL, database concepts and knowledge of dimensional modeling
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product Management teams
• Proficient in python with expertise in python libraries related to Data Analysis
• Process and analyze large volumes of data, from various outputs using your findings to support the business in understanding information.
• Story board, create, ad publish standard reports, data visualizations, analysis and presentations
• Document development work and provide status on progress.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelors degree in data science/statistics/engineering/math/quantitative analytics or a related quantitative discipline
• 1+ years of experience working with SQL, developing complex SQL queries, and leveraging SQL in Tableau
• Masters degree in analytics/engineering/statistics/math preferred
• Ability to actualize requirements
• 1+ years of experience in Alteryx, Python or R coding
• Deep understanding of Data Governance and Data Modeling
• Advanced communication skills with the ability to summarize findings and present in a clear, concise manner to peers, management, and others
• 2+ years of experience supporting the development of analytics solutions leveraging tools like Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online
• Strong data analysis skills including skills to rapidly learn new data assets.
• Knowledge of data science techniques

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
