Summary:

The Intermediate Business Intelligence Developer supports the design and development of all enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. As a member of the Enterprise Analytics team at OhioHealth, the BI Developer is responsible for developing and supporting complex operational, analytical and strategic reporting and analytics solutions for information consumers simplifying access to information. Working in close coordination with Epic Application Reporting Leads, Data Architects and Cogito Project Manager, BI Report Developer develops understanding of clinical work-flows, business process flows and data relationships and operates in all phases of a Business Intelligence development life cycle which incorporates requirements definition, design, report development and deployment as well as support.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• Years of experience: Strong working knowledge of SQL/relational structures & concepts & BI methodology
• Field of Study: Combination of Education, training & experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Field of Study: Computer Science, Comp Info Sys, Information Tech or related field.
• Years of experience: 3 to 5 yrs. progressive exp in development using BI Tools

Additional Information about the role:

• Pulling data from HealthStream, Workday, Access databases, and EPIC
• Preferably, has Epic database experience and is certified in Epic data models
• Has experience with rapid prototyping and is flexible in their approach
• Supporting the Ethics and Compliance team.
• Is familiar with and has written SQL code in the past (1-3 years of hands on experience)
• Has managed application development in a large enterprise environment
• Can lead design reviews, accept feedback, and deliver quality products
• Has experience (1-3 years) with a BI visual tool (we use Qlik Sense but Tableau and PowerBI are others)
• Proven track record of good communication
