What You’ll Be Doing

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Admissions Operations Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing admissions coordinators. They will monitor and coach performance of teammates to reduce cycle times and improve conversion rates for clinically appropriate patients to admission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Under the oversight of the Admissions leadership team, the Admissions Operations Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day patient movement optimization meetings and processes, collaborating with on-site teams and directly supporting admission coordinators in problem-solving patient barriers to admissions to optimize facility capacity
• Leads performance of assigned team. Orients, trains and holds self and teammates accountable to organization and performance goals and expectations, including cycle time and conversion rates of clinically appropriate patients to admission
• Review and documents audit of teammate productivity, performance and tool use reports to identify areas of improvement and follow-up in the moment, as necessary
• Ensures efficient flow of all admission coordinator processes to support timely access and a quality experience for patients/families.
• Oversees training and onboarding of new teammates, including creating training schedules and ensuring correct tools/technology/training content is received
• Reviews and documents audit of open and inactive cases daily to identify areas of improvement and follow-up in the moment, as necessary
• Collaborates with training and development team on developing and maintaining knowledge resources for admissions coordinator team.
• Maintain teammates schedules and timecard approvals in UKG for direct reports
• Maintains department standard work, monitors adherence to standards, and assesses for and helps implement enhancements to standards as necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mental Health/Counseling or related field of study
• Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Must have formal leadership experience, having supervised direct reports
• 3+ year of experience working in a behavioral health admissions, response team, or healthcare call center environment
• Proficient in all MS Office suite applications (Excel, Word, MS Office, PowerPoint).

Compensation starting range for the Admissions Operations Supervisor role is $65,000 to $81,000. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
