Admissions Supervisor Jobs

Experience with Chameleon or other Shelter Management Software highly desired.

Ensure compliance to all animal-related ordinances, guidelines, laws, and regulations. Refer cases to animal law enforcement and management when appropriate.

Is visible to staff, communicates with management regularly and openly to discuss department needs, successes, and challenges.

Supports management and discusses differences privately.

Works closely with management to ensure that the department operates within constraints of annual budget.

Utilizes performance-based management when counseling and evaluating staff and sets measurable goals for employee growth.

Ensures efficient flow of all admission coordinator processes to support timely access and a quality experience for patients/families.

Collaborates with training and development team on developing and maintaining knowledge resources for admissions coordinator team.

3+ year of experience working in a behavioral health admissions, response team, or healthcare call center environment

Must have formal leadership experience, having supervised direct reports

Maintains department standard work, monitors adherence to standards, and assesses for and helps implement enhancements to standards as necessary

Oversees training and onboarding of new teammates, including creating training schedules and ensuring correct tools/technology/training content is received

Complete any tasks as requested by Admissions Operation Supervisor or Management

Time Management – Plan and manage tasks effectively while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail.

Communication – Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to cross-train and learn unique skills across various departments

Train and coach team members
