Behavioral Direct Care Worker - Adult Unit ($25/hr)

We are currently hiring an experienced individual who will deal with individuals who may have a disability or behavior problem. May include restraint and de-escalation if necessary.

Responsibilities Includes

• Supporting in daily living activities, such as household maintenance, self-care and hygiene, food shopping and preparation, budgeting, leisure activities, and social skills
• Confirming that the use of appropriate methods, coordination of services, and crisis intervention are accomplished
• Restraint and de-escalation when needed
• Assisting individuals with habilitative, behavioral, and recreational programs; these include delivering medication, reporting concerns to supervisors, and providing physical assistance when necessary;

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient
• Must be comfortable with restraint and de-escalation
• Must have prior Direct Care experience or experience with ADLs
