The Imaginarium is a marketing agency that helps B2B companies develop and operate an account-based marketing growth engine. We are located in Boston and looking for a Content Manager to create and manage content creation for our clients. You must be a great writer and love working with a high energy, collaborative team!
You will work closely with the account, design, and media leads to create highly engaging and personalized content for a variety of channels, including email, social (predominantly LinkedIn), ads, and sales enablement (marketing and sales materials). The ideal candidate is creative, optimistic, hard-working and can work independently.
This is a very new agency with a small and growing team. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, creative agility, and be driven to do great work. Ideally willing to work at least 3-days a week in the office in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
- Meet deadlines and attend and participate in meetings as required
- Develop an account-based marketing (ABM) communications plan including strategy, channels, and content
- Work with producers, designers, marketing partners, merchants, cross-brand colleagues, and others to determine creative execution
- Ensure that copy has stylistic sign-off and appropriate approvals before releasing
- Create, proofread, and self-edit copy that clearly communicates marketing messages
- Write, self-edit, and proof copy for a wide-variety of marketing materials, including site marketing copy, social media, email messages, promotions, and other projects as needed
- Collaborate with designers to ensure that copy communicates effectively within a layout
Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to adapt writing to the our clients’ voice and adhering closely to evolving brand guidelines
- Sharp attention to detail with high-level organizational skills and ability to deal with multiple teams/projects simultaneously
- At least three years of professional writing or content creation experience, preferably in a digital or agency environment
- Strong and flexible writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to interact productively during brainstorming and kick-off meetings, work independently, and communicate information among team members
- Ability to ideate on marketing direction and creatively craft a best-in-class customer-facing experience while addressing all objectives
