A/V Tech Jobs

Setup/tear down meeting rooms, banquet, ballroom, and other designated areas. Maintain storage areas and execute assigned projects as directed by Audiovisual Supervisor. Provide residents and guest with prompt, courteous and efficient service. Assist custodial personnel in all phases of custodial services.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Review activities calendar and contact Lifestyle Department to review set-ups weekly schedule. Read set-up orders carefully for details and follow each instruction noted on the form.
• Events setup and tear down of chairs, tables, and banquet equipment. Clean, store and dispose of items from event functions as required.
• Housekeeping functions such as sweeping, mopping, clean restroom, vacuuming, cleaning windows, mirrors, and buffing floors.
• Performs other assigned duties related to facilities maintenance.
• Inventory tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment, and decorations/props for department.
• Wage Range in the State of California: $15.50 - $17.00 an hour based on experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Operate audio/visual equipment for functions, meetings, and events.
• Set-up meeting rooms, banquets, ballroom, courtyards, outside patio/terraces, fitness center and other areas for various events and meetings in a proper and timely manner. This includes moving tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment to and from storage areas and other meeting rooms.
• Host/operate concert events without supervision and interact with event host. Equipment operation of sound board, lighting board, video cameras, microphones, and PowerPoint.
• Maintain constant contact with Lifestyle Department to assure adequate room set-ups for various functions, additions to or cancellation from calendar.
• Must comply with the association safety program and meet Cal OSHA requirements and standards.
