Automation Test Engineer, Quality Assurance

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Automation Test Engineer, Quality Assurance to design, develop and execute Quality Assurance (QA) test strategy for enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: test components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users, to identify software problems and root causes; test multiple components of the application to ensure high quality, on-time delivery of Underwriting Transformation Products before changes are put into production; participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on the proper implementation software Quality Assurance (QA) activities; develop comprehensive testing plans, reports, and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle; lead in continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality; implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation; execute test cases and validate results, meet deadlines, and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution; generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns, and project status to the product management team with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates; conduct proactive risk planning to identity and mitigate risks; and mentor junior QA colleagues and monitor assigned project work. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Automation using Python and SQL; Databases: Teradata and Azure Databricks; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Software development lifecycle; and Quality Assurance (QA) and automation testing.
