QUALITY ENGINEER
EL PASO, TX

As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for the complete Quality Control of the manufacturing process, starting from quality receiving inspection, QC into production areas and Customer care.

The Role:

Work will include, but not be limited to:

• Supervise the release of the first pieces.
• Work instructions and methods development
• Contact customers for status updates and follow ups about reported issues.
• Follow IATF requirements for automotive industry, prepare documents for internal and external audits.
• Supervise the quality process on the floor.
• To create visual aids and provide training to the QA inspectors and production.
• Provide customer support.
• Mentored staff & communicated cross-functionality to facilitate collaboration.
• PPAP Development Participation.
• Create and post quality alerts, coordinate local and customer sorts, verify charges for services requested.
• Customer quality report follow up, identify root cause, coordinate activities to close quality report and avoid recurrence.
• Supervise the Quality Control Team.
• To coordinate, evaluate and release the improvements made by maintenance and engineering.

Your Qualifications:

• Candidate should have participated in Core Tools applications.
• Customer service, Root cause analysis.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in Quality Systems.
• Office.
• Caliper.
• Advanced English (able to read technical specifications).
• Glossmeter.
• Staff mentoring.
• Customer relations.
• Height gage.
• Minitab.
• Product and service knowledge (Molding).
• Organization and record keeping.
• Optical Comparator.
• Spectrophotometer.
• English must be able to engage in a business conversation and can read and write technical information.
• Cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality or related Science Engineering or Quality Systems.
• Customer experience improvement.
• Micrometer.
• Knowledge of:

Bonus If You Have:

• CMM Hexagon PCDMIS 2015.
• AutoCad experience.
• Time Management seminary.
• SolidWorks experience.
