Responsible for proactively managing a large multi-region area within the U.S. or Canada, in order to drive execution of real estate strategies in accordance with tactical plans for Bath & Body Works. Direct transactional responsibility for an assigned region in addition to management oversight of 1-3 Regional Directors. Leads execution of targeted accountabilities, consistent with tactical plans. Partners in the integration of Canadian and US real estate systems and processes to support Enterprise growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner in the organizing/conducting of periodic developer portfolio reviews
- Perform budget development, analysis and recommendations for both occupancy cost targets, annual market reviews/tactical planning, and tier & segmentation review.
- Develop strong relations with Canadian developers to ensure delivery of strategically appropriate, financially and operationally compelling real estate transactions
- Actively manage/mentor real estate directors/brokers/consultants for professional development and seamless execution.
- Partner in the development of real estate strategies, which align with the center driven fleet optimization model.
- Strong market knowledge with complete familiarization of fleet positioning in multiple regions.
- Understands and leads implementation of real estate strategies driving timely execution of brand tactical plans.
- Conduct/manage site selection and deal negotiations for optimal brand positioning, in accordance with tactical plans.
- Balance execution of capital and non-capital transactions to ensure agility and appropriate of capital spending
- Manage disposition/redeployment of nonproductive real estate and working cross-functionally with Operational Finance and Legal.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess knowledge of multiple real estate markets
- Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills
- Seasoned retail real estate professional with 10+ years of experience
- Maintain extensive industry contacts and excellent relationships with retail developers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business/marketing or related field. Master’s degree in related field, preferred.
