Overview
This position supports the Global Real Estate & Development Business Unit which generated over $100M in segment profit in 2022. The Sr Analyst will report to the Manager - FP&A (International and Global Real Estate & Development) and will be part of a broader Finance team that reports to the CFO, International & Development and supports teams reporting into the Chief Development Officer and President, International. This role will have an active role in reporting on monthly results, supporting monthly business reviews, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes related to the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and Long-Range Plan.. The position will also track and analyze General & Administrative expenses, perform analysis on various ad hoc initiatives, and be tasked with helping to create various dashboards to better support the team’s business partners.
Responsibilities

• Support quarterly financial reporting and audit processes.
• Lead quarterly forecast process, including gaining alignment with business partners in Real Estate, Development, and Accounting on key assumptions, and preparing executive level summaries.
• Prepare and compile monthly detailed financial results and analysis for presentation to Senior Leadership. This will include variance explanations versus forecast, prior year, and the annual operating plan.
• Support preparation and analysis of Annual Operating Plan.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis which support key business decisions.

What we expect from you

• MBA or CPA with Big 4 experience is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a financial analysis position with a large organization. Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus.
• Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users.
