Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2) to join the Boeing Salt Lake (BSL) Fulfillment team in Salt Lake City, Utah on first shift!

The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. In this role you will be working with a phenomenal team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
  • Coordinates part number attributes.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Releases and maintains orders.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
  • Creates schedules for products and services.
  • Must be willing and able to work first/morning shift.
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
  • 1+ years of experience scheduling and ordering inventories/supplies
  • 1+ years of experience working in a role that required strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business or another related field
  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain management analysis or materials management analysis
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
