Washington State (Remote)

Contract Length: 5 months (possibility of extension)

Pay: $28-31/ hour

Work for the largest coffee retail company in the country! This multinational chain is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join its team. If supply chain is your passion, and you're looking for that opportunity to grow your career and experience, then this could be the role for you!

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will develop tactical and strategic supply plans and establish inventory levels for assigned production materials or finished goods to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience working in supply chain and good Excel skills.

Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities:

Has proficiency in the ERP system and reporting tools to accomplish inventory planning and execution

Works with supplier and/or manufacturing plants to ensure the buy plan changes can be supported and collaborates to resolve supply gaps

Utilizes the system, exception reports, and communicates with suppliers, to identify risk and put a plan in place with support and guidance from manager

With guidance, understands what needs to be accomplished, and can effectively work with others to create processes that enhance or streamline workflow within their specific area of control

Identifies root cause and collaborates to solve the true root cause with a sustainable solution

Proactively communicates work status, coordinates with stakeholders when conflicts occur

Supply Chain Planner Qualifications:

• Ability to use inventory or planning system tools
• Working knowledge of supply planning or inventory management processes
• At least 2 years of supply chain/logistics or material/inventory management and analytics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Experience working with an ERP system, experience in Oracle a plus.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
