Position Overview:

This role reporting into the Global Head of SCM in Copenhagen is to primarily act as a conduit for the North American Business Operations across the SCM discipline.Providing local support to the Regional Lead and leaders key stakeholders in Sales/Marketing in the region, you will be a trusted advisor to the team.This role will assist in overseeing and managing the North American contract manufacturers, the production order handling, as well as acting as focal point for all issues related to production. Further the position will work closely with the other members of the North American Supply chain team on stock management, promotional planning and other issues that ensure a smooth running operation assist with managing procurement, SCM and working with local Logistics operation for the region..

Top 5 Priorities for this role

1. Support North American Sales and Marketing by working closely on promo, open stock needs as well as being able to provide updates on stock availability and challenges and issues that impact the availability of stock

2. Promotional Planning vis a vis production to ensure optimal level of stock availability at all times

3. Contract manufacturer management

4. Coordinate production, closely with Global Supply and Demand planning team

5. Monitor and track production and delivery on an ongoing basis


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and assist with managementof developing our North American production with suppliers based in the region
  • Component procurement and stock management
  • Work in close collaboration wiht team members on Inventory Management (in warehouse, at suppliers + in transit)
  • Monitoring demand forecasts and results to determine, in order to implement changes changes to the supply plan.
  • ·Maintaining relationships with our freight forwarders and coordinating deliveries and cost savings efforts
  • Implementing Supplier Score Cards system
  • Work closely with Global demand and supply Team to successfully manage order placement, handling and m
  • Coordinating local sourcing activities with Regional Lead
  • Active member of the S&OP processes

Education and Experience:


  • ·Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • ·Reporting implementation experience (KPIs, SOP’s etc.)
  • Technical Certifications
  • Systems/IT: working experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferable, but experience with an ERP systemis required
  • ·ERP knowledge is a must (NetSuite, Oracle or similar)
  • ·Curiosity and growth mindset.
  • Excel superuser
  • ·Numbers-driven, analytical & structured team player
  • ·You have a strong sense for prioritising your tasks and planning/managing your day
  • Minimum4 3 -5 years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics or comparable educational level
