The Associate Project Manager works in tandem with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers (hereafter referred to as “PMs”), providing support throughout the lifecycle of a trial, from study start up through TMF delivery and financial reconciliation. Under the guidance of the PM, the Associate Project Manager contributes to the successful delivery of trials by actively participating in meetings, preparing key documents, tracking status/completion of deliverables, supporting finance-related activities, mitigating risks, assisting the internal team in achieving milestones, and providing high quality services in support of the trial, while keeping patients as top priority.


Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Read and understand trial related documents (study/site contracts, protocol, budget, etc.)
  • Prepare and/or contribute to the development of high quality, trial related documents (project plans, timelines, dashboards, meeting agendas, etc.), reflecting the current scope of work
  • Assist PMs in reviewing trial progress and key deliverables; collaborate and communicate with cross functional team leads
  • Identify risk(s) and help prepare risk mitigation strategies: propose/implement solutions and share lessons learned
  • Assist in reviewing and approving project invoices, creating change orders, and assessing study budget and forecasting data
  • Enter, maintain, and assess data in study dashboards
  • Schedule, facilitate, and/or contribute to internal team/sponsor calls, kickoff meetings, etc.


Qualifications needed:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years work experience in a healthcare or other science related field
  • Experience in oncology clinical research highly preferred
  • Experience in a clinical research environment highly preferred
