This portfolio currently includes Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles, and Solar. Provide business development and program oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy related projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements and investment targets, including project scope and cost effectiveness. Support program forecasting, budget tracking, and regulatory filings. Provide technical, financial, analytical and project management guidance to support the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives as part of PSE&G's Renewables & Energy Solutions group.


There are various opportunities in support of program implementation including residential and commercial/industrial (C&I) energy efficiency programs. **Job Responsibilities**


  • Must become knowledgeable in Residential and/or C&I Energy Efficiency Programs.
  • Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required.
  • Manage the processes for implementing energy related projects in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
  • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors.


Review vendor deliverables.


Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices.


This work is conducted both telephonically and in the field.


  • Must be proficient with working independently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of PSEG Standards of Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Assist with special projects as necessary.
  • During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations. **Job Specific Qualifications** Job Requirements:
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge of residential and/or commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs, processes and practices
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years demonstrated knowledge managing energy related projects, project management or construction management, and marketing practices. In lieu of a degree, nine years of experience in the foregoing spaces.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
  • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management. Energy Efficiency Projects may include, but not limited to, the installation of various energy conservation measures or energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program. Electric Vehicle projects may include the installation of Level 2 chargers in residential or commercial settings or Direct Current Fast Chargers in community or highway locations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license Desired:
  • Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts; Prepare monthly expense and capital forecasts.

  • Excellent written and verbal skill set.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program vendors and other delivery contractors
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the utility industry, appropriate regulations and applicable Board Orders.
