About the role:
Global Private Wealth Marketing is responsible for growing the Blue Owl brand and driving assets into key commercial products in the wealth channel. We are hiring an Associate to help expand and support product marketing to grow the business with financial advisors and end clients. This role will be responsible for helping establishing process building around product messaging and positioning that is client-centric and commercial. Ability to write and develop content will be a huge driver in the success of this product marketing position. They will also partner across marketing as well as Sales, Product Development and Partnership functions to deliver impactful and consistent marketing campaigns for key product priorities. This is a high-impact role within an entrepreneurially driven firm. A successful product marketing lead will deliver a strong vision grounded in process, collaboration and demonstrate ability to execute at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, does not need a roadmap to deliver impact and is ready to be a part of building the function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for writing new content and supporting the ideation / development of new pieces with executives and portfolio strategists and content team around key investment insights, investment strategies and market commentary
- Develop and implement client centric messaging that resonates with and appeals to both financial advisors and end clients – with a focus on “keeping it simple.”
- Partner across the Private Wealth Marketing team to translate product briefs, messaging into cohesive marketing campaigns with clear objectives
- Be highly engaged on the blueprint of our digital presence, UX and content private wealth digital experiences and product pages
- Support in the overhaul and reimagination of existing product material (foundational materials) and partner with content function for the expansion of more commercial content to be scaled across channels and regions
- Partner with sales, product strategists and leadership to create high-impact messages based on client needs, use cases and relevance
Qualifications:
- Thrives in roles with untapped ‘white space’ with strong ability to bring people together and advance workstreams
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience and expertise in commercially driven messaging with financial markets and competitive landscape awareness
- Excellent written and analytical skills (with a focus on writing for our audience)
- Intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while staying strategically focused
- Strong command of client segment (financial advisors, HNW/UHNW investors) to develop product messaging content and narratives grounded in insights
- Driven and a self-starter with the ability to own and execute on a range of initiatives
- 4-6 years of experience in product marketing or strategy with writing experience in financial services strongly preferred (financial services background required)
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $110,000 to $115,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
