Job Description
Job Summary


The CCB Data & Analytics team is the engine that powers JPMorgan Chase with insights to create competitive advantages for our business and deliver value for our customers. Within this organization, the Sales Sciences team leverages industry-leading data-driven techniques to convert data into meaningful insights that enable the firm to drive value and an outstanding customer experience through field engagement. We are looking for a candidate experienced with collaborating with field leadership and translating business questions into analytical solutions. In this role, you will work directly with business to answer questions such as which clients should our "virtual bankers" reach out to, how can we best support the branches, and what are the best reasons to engage our clients virtually?


Job Responsibilities


  • Grow with our partners beginning with reporting and ad-hoc analytics requests and take them to large scale data optimization solutions
  • Build and drive the reporting visualizations for the Virtual Branch with the help of a dedicated reporting resource
  • Design, implement, and measure pilots of new strategies such as portfolio assignments and new virtual partner engagement models
  • Use data analysis tools/platforms (SQL, R/Python, Teradata, AWS, Airflow & Hadoop) to analyze data from multiple sources
  • Collaborate with strategy partners to make informed business decisions by leveraging a strong experimentation environment
  • Independently manage projects end-to-end, from ideation to implementation, while keeping relevant stakeholders informed and engaged


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Experience using Python or R, query languages such as SQL, and Alteryx
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outcome oriented - not reactionary; you can articulate the business problem and work intentionally to answer the question. This requires a fundamental understanding of the business as well as the analytics environment and its constraints (bias, experimentation, and data limitations)
  • 1+ year experience using Tableau
  • Relevant experience in Financial Services
  • The ability to translate analytics results into intuitive business language, and business questions into analytical projects
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in a related discipline or a Masters or PhD


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Experience with field performance scorecards and field campaigns
  • Experience in a strategy facing role, helping sales leadership through analytics and reporting
  • Ability to move quickly and embrace an experiment-driven approach
  • Experience with financial metrics, including product revenue, costs, and NPV
