We are seeking a Data Scientist to design develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement supporting our CenerEnviza health sciences solutions.

Responsibilities
Interacts with internal (product) teams and external (life science) clients service to identify questions, analyze, prepare, and process data sets to be consumed for direct insights, statistical modeling, and other analytical exploration for research projects. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. You will consult with stakeholders or clients on data availability and quality and outcomes of analysis and pinpoint trends, correlations, and patterns in complex data sets with some assistance. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
· Education: BS or higher with concentration in quantitative discipline - Math, Comp Sci, Engineering, Stats, Econ, Quantitative Social Science, or similar discipline
· Minimum of 3+ years industry experience in data science work including data management, transformation, and visualization
· At least 3 years of work experience with SQL, Python, or PySpark
· Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
· Experience building complex data sets from multiple data sources, both internally and externally
· Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL (or other database languages) and a scripting language (Python or R)
Preferred Qualifications
· At least 1 year of work experience with Cloud technologies, like AWS, Azure, or OCI
· At least 1 year of work experience with Big Data tools, like Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks
· Advanced competency and expertise in Python, Databricks, and other platforms
· Advanced competency with unstructured data and NLP techniques
· Strong background working with predictive and statistical modeling, machine learning and strong expertise in all phases of the modeling pipeline
