Job Description
We Are Hiring:
  • Department: Ascension Data Science Institute
  • Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday
  • Location: REMOTE

Responsible for analysis of data for the development of reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Perform data analysis and synthesize results.
  • Independently create and maintain actuarial models.
  • Lead projects, anticipate obstacles and ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate key risks, projected actuarial results, and recommended action with internal stakeholders.
  • Establish reporting processes, workflows, monitor emerging experience and recommend corrective actions.
  • Project financial performance on Medicare Advantage and Medicaid risk sharing contracts with health insurers.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Associate Certification credentialed from the Society of Actuaries obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences:
  • Medicare Advantage bid pricing experience preferred.
