The Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) Group of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University invites applications for an open non-tenure track faculty position to be located at the Oakland, California Campus of the university, with employment beginning in August 2023. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with teaching, research, and service responsibilities. Appointment will be made at the Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in entrepreneurship and/or related subjects; participate in service to the E&I Group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline; and develop an appropriate independent research program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a Scholarly Academic.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Management, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at the Associate Teaching Professor level must have significant college teaching and/or professional experience. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and research, and must have a background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse work and educational environments.

The expected hiring range for an Assistant Teaching Professor is USD $106,600 to USD $151,800 based upon the position’s scope and responsibilities. The expected hiring range for an Associate Teaching Professor is USD $124,700 to USD $175,700 based upon the position’s scope and responsibilities.
