About Us

Since our founding in 2012, Ni Hao Chinese has been dedicated to providing high-quality language education. We currently have seven locations throughout Southern California and offer after-school programs as well as partnerships with schools in the region. Our aim is to create a positive learning environment for students in ages 2 to 6, where they can grow and have fun while learning. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow educators and curriculum specialists, sharing ideas, knowledge, and providing constructive feedback.
• Help children with class activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work with teachers to help students with different language backgrounds and skill levels.
• Help teacher with classroom cleaning, changing diapers, and help children with potty training.
• Our teaching assistant also have the opportunity and responsibility to develop mini-lessons that are incorporated into the main curriculum.
• Communicate with parents and school personnel in person and through electronic methods, utilizing educational software and email.
• Display enthusiasm, understanding, and commitment to ensure the children’s experiences are positive and underpin their educational lives.
• Be able to manage a small group of students and direct them in activities.

Requirements

• Excellent multitasking abilities, balancing responsibilities with children and other tasks.
• Must have at least 6 ECE units or be willing to take courses.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a preschool setting.
• Familiarity with education software and Google Suite is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate, analyze, and solve challenges when working with young children (ages 2 - 6).
