Assistant or Associate (Teaching) Professor of Education

The University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education invites applicants for a full-time, instructional faculty position, at the rank of Assistant or Associate (Teaching) Professor of Education, in the Organizational Change and Leadership Ed.D. program. https://rossieronline.usc.edu/form-edd/

Candidates with a background and commitment to equity and improving opportunity and outcomes for historically underserved groups are especially desired. The successful candidate will have practical experience in organizational development; change management; talent management; diversity, equity and inclusion; and organizational change. For this particular position, we seek individuals who have worked in higher education, nonprofit, and/or corporate contexts.

The successful applicant for this position should have an earned doctorate in public policy, education, economics, business, or related field, and would be expected to participate in the design and delivery of courses and advise student dissertations. We seek individuals with experience teaching courses focused on organizational change and leadership, equity in the workplace, and accountability as well as experience supervising doctoral dissertations.

The position is an instructional, non-tenure track faculty appointments in the Rossier School of Education. The position is a 12-month renewable appointments that is expected to begin in Fall 2023.

Non-tenure track faculty in the Rossier School have a profile of 80% teaching (24 academic units) and a 20% service expectation including some combination of, but not limited to, curriculum development, course oversight, recruitment and admissions activities, and participation on school and university committees.

The Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership online (OCL online) from USC Rossier is an EdD program for those eager to drive change across different kinds of workplaces: private firms, nonprofits, government organizations or higher education.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000.
