We are looking for a full-time (32 hours per week, with the possibility of moving to 40) team oriented, reliable Assistant Property Manager to add to ShelterCare's fantastic Property Management team.

ShelterCare is a non-profit that believes in "housing first", we meet people where they are. This role will be completing HUD certifications, discuss resident issues, conduct lease-up appointments, prepare violation and termination notices.

Being team oriented and maintaining consistent attendance is vital to the ongoing work of ShelterCare's Property Management team.

It's very important to note that you'll be interacting with ShelterCare clients on a daily basis. Most of ShelterCare's clients have either a history of homelessness and/or serious mental illness.

The starting hourly wage for this position is $20.83 to $21.33 depending on a number of factors.

Required

What you bring to ShelterCare:

• 1 year of HUD certification experience OR willingness to attend HUD certification trainings.
• Experience with successful independent judgment and discretion.
• 1 year of residential property management experience.
• Ability to drive agency vehicles
• Ability to successfully pass a DHS background check

Preferred

• Experience working with individuals who have or are experiencing homelessness and/or diagnosed with serious mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
