What is an Assistant Property Manager at AVE?

The Assistant Property Manager, under the direction of the Regional General Manager, is responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and maintaining all aspects of the community.

This team member is responsible for the following key tasks, but not limited to:

  • Assist with resident relations and enforce property rules and regulations
  • Play an active role in resident engagement and communicate with residents and guests directly by responding to requests, anticipating residents’ needs, and following up on any questions
  • Conduct daily property walks including the sales path and amenity spaces and perform suite inspections
  • Process accounts payable with the Regional General Manager's approval
  • Monitor the financial operation and achieving budgeted NOI
  • Maintain accurate resident rent ledgers and personal information
  • Process new applications and set up and execute new leases
  • Participate in leasing both furnished and unfurnished suites
  • Maintain accuracy of all resident and vendor files
  • Process and negotiate lease renewals as per the direction of the Regional General Manager
  • Assist with planning and executing resident events
  • Prepare accurate invoices for new and existing corporate clients to ensure timely remittance of payment
  • Process all receipts daily including rent payments, credit card charges, and ACH payments

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Property Manager role will possess management experience in the hospitality, travel, relocation or multifamily industry (however, this is not required). Knowledge of Yardi: Voyager/PAYscan/Portal, Oscar, and Microsoft Office is a plus. This team member must be committed to AVE brand standards, maintaining the property and delivering an unparalleled resident experience. They must be able to multitask, be detail-oriented, and go above and beyond at all times.
