Assistant Construction Project Manager/project engineer for the heavy contractor. Our top client currently has an opportunity available for APM to support their latest heavy civil/ site projects. The APM will be an integral player in the management of the flow of information between the general contractor, the owner, and other project stakeholders and help with design assistance and the approvals process.

Construction Project Engineer/Project Manager Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
• Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure
• Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to the vendors as needed
• Processing of payment requests and change orders
• Communicates with super/
• Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
• Project design
• Reviews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments

Skills / Qualifications Of Project Engineer/Construction Assistant Project Manager

• Roadway, bridge, site excavation/ utility type experience
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
• 1-5+ years of heavy construction management experience preferred and recent college grads are encouraged to apply also with internships,
• Strong judgment and flexibility
• Experience with heavy projects is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
