Assistant Project manager urgent need $100000+

Assistant Project Manager for general contractor. Our top client currently has an opportunity available for APM to support their latest lab projects. Must have experience on this one. The APM will be an integral player in the management of the flow of information between the general contractor, the owner and other project stakeholders and help with design assistance and approvals process.

Construction Project Manager Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to vendor as needed
• Communicates with super/ runs meetings etc
• Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
• Reviews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments
• Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
• Project design
• Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure
• Processing of payment request and change orders

Skills / Qualifications

• Experience with life science/ lab/ healthcare projects is a plus
• Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong judgment and flexibility
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• 0-5+ years of construction management experience preferred and recent college grads encouraged to apply
