Part-Time Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer

Position Details

The Athletics Department at The University of Tampa has a position available for Part-Time Assistant Women's Soccer Coach (8/01 - 5/31) to assist with coaching and practice. This position will report to the Head Women's Soccer Coach.

Responsibilities
1. Assist with on the field coaching and practice.
2. Assist with team scouting, scheduling, and player evaluation.
3. Assist with student academics, weight training, and player conditioning.
4. Assist with team travel, fundraising, and correspondence.
5. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Experience playing on a collegiate team preferred.
3. Experience coaching on the collegiate level preferred.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, establish priorities, and manage time wisely.
5. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office.
6. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Pay Rate
$15 per hour not to exceed $10,000 in a 10 month period.

Work Schedule
Part-time schedule not to exceed 29 hours per week/1000 hours per year.
