Job Description
JOB TITLE: Assistant Dispensary Manager


AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:


  • Reports directly to the Dispensary Manager
  • Oversees Shift Supervisor(s), Budtenders, Inventory Specialists, Dispensary Security Associates, and general Dispensary operations


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Daily Store Operations


  • Update SOPs as changes to policy and/or regulations occur and ensure compliance among team
  • Oversee the sales process
  • Maintain a clean and organized store
  • Serve as a liaison to the local community by providing accurate information to patients and medical providers
  • Maintain store compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary
  • Manage financial records and daily cash handling procedures during shift
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels in coordination with the Inventory team and keep track of products that have expired
  • Assist the Dispensary Manager with various reports
  • Inspire, motivate, supervise, and direct staff


Sales and Customer Service


  • Provide and inspire retail staff to deliver best-in-class customer service
  • Lead staff to exceed goals set forth by the Retail Operations Manager
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
  • Review all customer feedback, requests, and concerns and provide resolution


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and results
  • Cannabis experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership, project management, and time management skills
  • Practical and proactive thinking
  • 2-3 years of experience in a management environment required
  • Accountability for others
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Occasionally moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
  • This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
