Position Objective:
- Prepare accounting policies and enhance existing controls
- Oversee certain operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, tax, bank and cash management oversight, bank reconciliations, Credit Card oversights
- Assisting Financial Planning & Analysis with budgeting
- Additional duties as assigned
- Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records
- Assisting with billing and tax documentation preparation
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
- Work with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit
- File quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission
- Oracle NetSuite knowledge preferred, but not required
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Previous intercompany experience preferred
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
- CPA or CMA strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial close, reporting, etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably at a global public accounting firm
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial process
- Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principles
- Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals
- Must be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery

- Demonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
