Job Description

WHO WE ARE:


Propper Asset Management LLC is a family owned and operated real-estate investment and management firm with residential and commercial properties throughout Missouri.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


We are currently seeking an Assistant Community Manager position for one of our residential properties in the St. Louis County Market.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Preform the full leasing process from prospect interaction, follow-up to lease execution. • Assist with the lease renewal process for existing residents.
  • Assist in managing the operations of the property as assigned, including but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable management, manage invoicing of accounts payable within the property management software, manage and track rental income
  • Assist in training of new team members and support each team member to ensure the success of the community
  • Plan, implement, and monitor programs for resident satisfaction and retention • Exercise common sense, good judgment, and consistency in day-to-day contact with residents and prospective applicants and in other business-related matters
  • Assist with the formulation and manage the operational and capital budget for the property, assist in the tracking, and reporting on the financial performance of the property and implement strategies for enhancing the value of the asset.
  • Manage community outreach programs and marketing initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate community events


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in multifamily property management preferred • Proficiency in property-level accounting with demonstrated success at working within a budgetary framework
  • History of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to property management, • Experience with YARDI property management software preferred.
  • Self-motivated and effective team leadership

Schedule:


  • Monday thru Saturday availability (weekend flexibility as required primarily scheduled in advanced)
  • Salary Position


Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance as required by the State of Missouri. Travel is primarily local during the business day. This is role is primarily onsite. Lite lifting may be required from time to time. Standard / common physical demands within an office and property management environment required, such as the ability to lift objects, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as needed.
