Assistant Buyer Jobs

How Do You Fit In?

As the Assistant Buyer, you would be responsible for assisting the Buying Team in daily, weekly, and monthly projects. The ability to multi-task and prioritize these projects will be important to the success of this role. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability of working in a fast-paced environment is required.

This position will report to Buyer.

What You Will Do

• Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required to support the Buying Team, and occasionally the Planning Team.
• Pull, format, and distribute weekly selling report
• Manage all areas of shipping tracking from ETA to receipt in the system
• Support ad hoc analysis
• Manage and track shipping:
• Timely update of all style, cost, and quantity changes
• Diligently surface any delayed POs or shipping issues to Buying Team
• Entry of new styles/outfits into buysheet and style master
• PO Review and Approval
• Creation of selling report:
• Meticulous maintenance of buy records:

What You Can Bring

• Ability to troubleshoot systems or highlight concerns
• Pulling reports and data entry in multiple systems
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Ability to partner, highlight, and raise any concerns
• Strong partner to the merchandising team to understand priorities and pivot as needed
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially with high proficiency in Excel
• Accuracy in reporting / data pulls
• Strong Communication:
• Data entry with a high level of accuracy rate
• Training would be provided
• System Savvy:
• BA or BS preferred
• Basic Illustrator knowledge
• Detailed Oriented:
• Training would be provided
• 1+ years of experience in merchandising/buying

The annual base salary range for this position is from $24.66/hr - $30.14/hr. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
