Job Description
WHO WE ARE: Balanced Healthcare - a 299 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in St. Petersburg, FL is currently seeking an Assistant Business Office Manager. We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new professional to join our team.
As the Assistant Business Office Manager or "ABOM" within a Skilled Nursing Facility you will be responsible for assisting with all business office functions under the direction of the Business Office Manager (BOM). To be most successful in the role of Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM), you will be a highly organized TEAM player who takes pride in leading by example, and is always looking for new ways to improve the workflow processes.

Assistant Business Office Manager Job Summary & Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance work flow
  • Minimum of 1 year related business office experience - prefferrable in a healthcare or LTC environment
  • Prepare and submit reports on time as directed by the Business Office Manager
  • Accumulate and maintain (in a very organized organized manner) any and all relevant information as it relates to admissions, discharges, deaths, transfers and daily census of facility residents.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a TEAM environment
