To support our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Area Revenue Manager. You will play a vital role in driving revenue and optimizing profitability for 6 - 8 select service hotels across Hilton brands within our portfolio. As a key member of the commercial team, your expertise in revenue management strategies and understanding of commercial best practices will be instrumental in achieving company financial objectives.


Parks Hospitality Group develops, owns, and manages all hotels within our portfolio. This is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate closely with the Parks Hospitality Group team to ensure the continued success of properties in your region. This role can be based at our corporate offices in Raleigh, NC (preferred in order to collaborate in-person with our corporate team), or remote-based within the eastern or central time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hilton Revenue Management Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Hilton revenue management systems, tools, rate plans, and distribution channels to develop and execute effective revenue management strategies for properties in your designated area.
  2. Revenue Optimization: Analyze market trends, pace, forecast, competitor performance, and demand fluctuations to make data-driven decisions for the optimal mix of business and maximize market share.
  3. Pricing Strategies: Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies by segment and channel for guest rooms based on demand patterns, seasonal variations, and special events. Ensure competitive pricing while maximizing total hotel revenue and profitability.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor room inventory and distribution across all channels to implement effective yield strategies, rates, and availability. Conduct group displacement analysis and manage room blocks in conjunction with hotel teams.
  5. Distribution Channel Management: Work closely with online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), third-party intermediaries, and Hilton's central reservation system to ensure optimal room inventory and rate positioning for assigned hotels. Have general knowledge of digital marketing strategies to make recommendations.
  6. Data Analysis: Utilize Hilton's revenue management systems, business intelligence platforms, and other tools to analyze performance metrics, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights. Regularly assess performance and adapt strategies accordingly for assigned hotels.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Parks Hospitality Group team, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives. Maintain effective communication to address challenges and implement new initiatives for assigned hotels.
  8. Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop revenue forecasts and budgets for hotels in your area in conjunction with the hotel teams. Continuously review and update projections based on actual performance and market changes.
  9. Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and threats. Implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge for assigned hotels.

10. Versatility: Ability to assist with other projects and hotels in the company portfolio as needed. Strong drive to succeed with a desire for continued professional development.


Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years in hotel revenue management with at least 2 years managing a portfolio of 5+ hotels. CRME certification preferred. Candidate must be located in Eastern or Central time zone.


  • Knowledge of industry trends, local markets, demand patterns, and sources.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and revenue management software.
  • Experience working with various online distribution channels and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex information clearly in a remote environment.
  • Team player with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hilton revenue management systems including OnQ R&I, GRO, Cognos, and third-party tools including Amadeus BI and Kalibri Labs.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of self-discipline.
