Archives Technician Jobs

PTS Advance is looking to speak with Archive Technicians to join our client who is an established and world-leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. This is a contract opportunity supporting my client's facility in Pensacola, FL.

In this role, you will assist the plasma donor center with reviewing and preparing files/records for shipment to archiving facility.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Transfer specific information from charts to an Excel spreadsheet. Place donor charts in boxes.
• Review confidential information in donor charts.
• Archive materials (such as charts, letters, or slides).
• Placing completed boxes on a pallet.
• Able to archive, and classify all materials, and prepare indexes and inventories for efficient access.
• Must be knowledgeable about both digital and traditional archival procedures.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Use problem-solving skills to minimize damage and choose the best storage methods.
• Must be aware and capable of handling confidential information with the utmost care.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Successful archivists are adept at deducing the condition of documents and other materials.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including reading, writing, and typing English.
• Ability to alphabetize information is essential.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and have good data entry experience.
