Job Description
What to Expect
Tesla is seeking an architect to join our Factory Architecture Team. We are looking for thoughtful individuals with excellent communication, design skills, and technical expertise.The Factory Architects roles are to help design, coordinate, and execute some of the most technically complicated factory spaces in the world. The ideal candidate will have between 1-10 years of professional experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design and technical solutions.
  • Assist in the execution of construction administration responsibilities
  • Assist in the review and execution of design documents that meet building code and accessibility code
  • Assist in developing solutions for projects in all phases
  • Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentation
  • Provide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams.
  • Contribute to the effective performance of the project ream regarding quality, schedule, and budget
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with complex MEPFP coordination and BIM coordination
  • Licensed Architects are strongly preferred
  • Professional architectural degree and a minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience
  • Excellent team communication skills
  • Well-organized and detailed oriented
  • Experience with complex multi-phased projects
  • Highly motivated and proactive
