Applications Engineer (Design Enablement)

At Intel, Design Enablement (DE) is one of the key pillars enabling Intel to deliver winning products in the marketplace. Your work will directly enable design teams to get to market faster with leadership products on cutting-edge technologies.

As part of the Design Enablement/Design Enablement Applications & Support team, you will join a highly motivated team of talented engineers solving challenging technical problems for Intel's most advanced process technologies and drive solutions to customer issues for the Design Enablement team.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, PDK design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.

As well responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of the software tools.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Master's degree with 6+ months of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with one or more of the following:

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $88,320.00-$132,660.00

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
