Summary
Under minimal supervision, coordinates Sales reporting and projects specific to Gallo Wine Sales of New Jersey (GWSNJ). Responsible for leveraging l data to provide guidance or insights to the Sales Leadership team. Draws insights from multiple data sources to make recommendations on business goals and incentives. This position handles various inquiries and must have a detailed approach to reports & tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating special projects and Sales programs as assigned.
  • Fulfills ad-hoc requests for information from Sales management.
  • Coordinates promotions for customers and sales team.
  • Leverages sales reporting and critical thinking abilities to provide the sales leadership team insights through data, reports, and analytics.
  • Prepares correspondence, various documents, and reports.
  • Supports the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
  • Updates the consumer tasting permit for Gallo Wine Sales of New Jersey.
  • Maintains and updates sales reporting related documents.
  • Organizes and maintains an e-file system of Sales reports and program information.
  • Completes brand registration codes for all GWSNJ distributed products.
  • Partners with Sales management to track incentives, goals, performance and makes suggestions for improvement.
  • Prepares and maintains Sales plans, goals, and trackers, tracks progress and keeps stakeholders apprised of health and status of sales performance vs. sales plan.
  • Communicates to internal partners important feedback from customers.
  • Demonstrates daily a clear understanding and acumen of digital Sales tools.
  • Implement processes and build tools to make data access, extraction, and analysis more efficient.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations and presentation materials.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience organizing, prioritizing and meeting deadlines while working on numerous on-going reports or projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communications.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level to include experience building pivot tables / visual data for presentations.
  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of data analysis, distributor, sales or sales support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of data analysis, distributor, sales or sales support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Experienced in preparing reports and writing business correspondence.
  • Experience pulling data from systems and performing data analysis.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Experience dealing with confidential information.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience automating reports.
  • Experience working independently and exercising confidentiality and sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Experience working with all levels of management.
  • Experience working in sales wine & spirits distributors
  • Experience communicating and working with all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of sales analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience composing and formatting correspondence, business proposals and presentations.
  • Experience coordinating travel arrangements.
