Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work with a team, take direction from various co-workers, and work within established budgets.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and a willingness to problem solve.
  • Assisting AE's in entering Digital placements into the Digital Assets Tracking Spreadsheets and coordinate proper execution with traffic team.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in radio, television sales, sales support, marketing or equivalent, relevant job experience.
  • Deadline-oriented with a commitment to collaboration both internally and externally is essential.
  • Is available some weekends and evenings to represent RMPM at community events, client functions and/or festivals.
  • Become familiar with and effectively utilize RMPM sales tools, placements and processes including:
  • Ability to lead projects independently, but able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent intergroup, communication, organizational, and analytical skillsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Responsible for assisting Sales Support Manager and AE's in the accurate & timely management of all department orders received from clients, and assist with billing and collections.
  • Verify Underwriting Department fulfillment with event and sponsorship commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms a must.
  • Actively participates in RMPM's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training program. Uses key standards and teachings of DEI training in all aspects of their work.
  • Excellent intergroup, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead projects independently, but able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Assist in the prospecting process for new underwriting clients and the renewing of existing clients including research and reporting as requested by Manager of Sales Support, AE's or VP of UW Department
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint/Excel and a CRM platform such as SalesforcePREFERRED QUALIFICATION/SKILLS
  • Must have strong skills or understanding of multiple platforms used to build digital, web and volunteer communities.
  • Strong customer service skills a must
  • Manages the writing, design and production of both general and customized sales materials for Corporate Underwriting staff that aligns sales messaging with RMPM's overall identity and branding, designed to garner sponsorship from prospects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy a must
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Create customized client proposals, presentations, one-sheets, client recaps, formatted e-mails and other sales documents for AE's as needed, assigned and/or requested.
  • Serve as a support to the Salesforce administrator to ensure consistent, accurate and timely use of this sales tool including accurate entry of orders and reporting when needed and assist Account Executives with updating account lists and maintaining client database.
  • Must have strong skills or understanding of multiple platforms used to build digital, web and volunteer communities.
  • Assist in coordinating sales promotions with RMPM radio stations.
  • Experience organizing complex projects and tasks required.
  • Supports the management of the Underwriting Department's contract files - by station, by client.
  • Occasional staffing of RMPM booth(s) at community/business events
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Efficient Use of Strata, Prime Lingo, Salesforce, V-Creative, Scarborough, Nielsen and others, as may be needed to support AE's/clients (with training provided).
  • Liaise with the traffic team for scheduling, client copy and sales posting to ensure contract fulfillment for client scheduling.
  • Manages updates, gathers, and interprets research from a wide variety of local and national sources to be communicated to the Underwriting staff and incorporated into sales materials. Provides data upon release and request.

  • Create sales pieces (such as presentation templates, media kits, and brochures), in collaboration with the Creative Services department to ensure adherence to RMPM style guide.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Weekend and evening hours may occasionally be required.
