This role could be an Analyst (level 6) or Associate (level 7) based on experience

Providing analytical support to the DCM and CIB F&BM management teams

Pipeline management and fee forecasting for IB management and the central controllers team

Preparation of materials for quarterly business reviews, town halls and management presentations

Assistance with the management of the Commitments Committee, a key control function for DCM before deals are launched to the market

Assistance with the preparation and management of internal audit and compliance testing

Support of ad hoc projects led by Product and Coverage business management and by CIB Banking F&BM senior management

Responsible for the execution of debt advisory mandates, including structuring, terms and pricing of recourse and non-recourse financings

Involved in the execution process through completion of due diligence, negotiation of legal documentation and closing

Responsible for analytical work and financial modeling both for debt capital structuring and Sponsor return optimization

Supports new business development, debt capital raising and other capital-related strategic initiatives

Attend and present at relevant infrastructure and energy conferences for purposes of networking and business development

Has a basic understanding of credit and credit training

Ability to read and analyze investment, lease and management agreements

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills

Completion of a high level of work within tight timeframes, successfully manages competing deadlines

Review and analyze business plans, leasing activity, lease approvals, draws and monthly property operating performance

Generate reporting materials to monitor the performance of investments at the asset level

Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Credit Risk, Big Four experience or related fields is preferred

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision

Performing financial modeling and financial statement analysis

Knowledge of Bank systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, Loan IQ, AFS, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Intralinks, Debt Domain

2-4 years of experience in Syndicated lending,

Ability to analyze and streamline operational processes enhancing productivity and efficiency. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus

Very strong written and verbal communications skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environment

Prior Experience Managing People a plus

Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independent of supervision

Provide internal debt guidance on market terms to deal teams to be used in underwriting and investment committee memos.

Prepare financial analyses for loan modifications, extensions, and sales reviewing for compliance with covenants and financing hurdles.

Maintain deal pipeline, and related systems

Lead hedge procurement process and assist in improving business processes

Participate in property inspections and market tours, including travel as needed

· Responsible for all administrative responsibilities of the desk (orderbook entries, marketing logistics, database management etc.).

· Provide ad hoc reports for management and senior team on transactions such as details and involvement.

· Demonstrate knowledge of fixed income products, markets and basic macroeconomics

· Participate in client meetings with bankers to promote the BBVA global credit platform.

· Utilize any down time to develop primary market mastery
