Job Description
Description

As an Analyst Intern, you will join a driven, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will work collaboratively within a team of analysts and consultants, actively supporting the delivery of consultative services to our internal and external customers.

This is a part-time (20-30 hours/week), 3-4 month internship; eligible for remote work in US states where Corcentric is currently setup as an employer, with preference to areas with a local office presence (Cherry Hill, NJ, Chicago, IL, McLean, VA.)

You will have the opportunity to shadow and engage in consulting projects that involve strategic sourcing and supply chain, procurement transformation, technology implementations, and change management. The position will require heavy use of Microsoft Excel in order to perform data manipulation and analysis, assisting in the identification of issues and solutions through customer and supplier discussions, researching and understanding market trends and utilizing market intelligence to shape solutions for our customers. The position may also support other business units within Corcentric periodically (i.e. Fleet, Contract Management).

We pride ourselves on being a positive consulting practice, and place value on a work/life balance. This means thoughtful, sustainable workloads, as well as professional development support, pairing you with Subject Matter Experts and Industry Leaders to help you reach your career goals.

Requirements

The qualified candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of advanced functions.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team based setting.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for analytics and solution-based problem solving.
  • Prior experience in Procurement, Consulting, or Technology preferred (not required).
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities through course work, previous work experiences and/or increasing levels of responsibility in a professional setting.
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload across multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work in a remote environment with internet access.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal (English).
  • Above average skills using the entire suite of Microsoft Office.
  • Currently pursuing a major in Information Systems Managment, Supply Chain, Procurement, Data Science, or other related field.
  • A strong work ethic, self-motivation and progressive thinking that thrives on new challenges.

(We want to make sure you’re set up to succeed, and we view these as the critical skills you’ll need to achieve great things at Corcentric!)

Benefits

As we continue to grow, we are looking for the right people to join us on our mission. If you are interested in being part of our team, we would like to communicate the following:

  • We are energized by challenges and the effort needed to solve them.
  • We like working with people who are positive, adaptable and growth minded.
  • We operate within a remote work framework, yet we uphold the same level of accountability and responsibility as in a traditional office setting.
  • We prioritize both the process and outcome of work, demonstrating a strong commitment to the success of our customers and colleagues. Exceptional quality work is an essential standard for us.
