Description & Requirements
Role
This position is responsible for building and maintaining key customer partnerships that lead to the development and execution of mutually beneficial supply chain programs. Building cross-functional relationships within the organization is crucial for driving results within our network.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Be the “Voice of the Customer” – Keep key personnel educated / informed of the customer’s supply chain expectations and provide overall feedback on how Kraft Heinz is doing
  • Build / Enhance customer partnerships while creating an efficient supply chain for Kraft Heinz and customers
  • Works closely with Sales counterparts and assist with efforts to maximize sales through efficient supply chain offerings
  • Stay informed with Sales initiatives and assist the team in meeting sales targets / project deadlines
  • Design and implement mutually beneficial creative supply chain solutions and programs that improve service- on time performance and/or reduce costs (i.e. Customer Backhaul Programs- Factory Direct opportunities)
  • Analyze and monitor monthly KPI’s that capture the customer’s current service levels and efficiency performance. Make adjustments as needed to improve the KPI’s and service levels (i.e. tracking on time delivery- case fill rate- etc…). Be as proactive as possible to avoid service failure using monthly/weekly reporting tools
  • Participate in the development and coordinate the implementation of new supply chain policies and procedures that meet customer needs and complement KHC’s business interests
  • Deliver specific / measurable cost savings targets and service improvements through existing tools- process improvements- and corrective action in conjunction with Kraft Heinz affiliate logistics- planning and customer service departments
Qualifications
  • Leadership / influencing / negotiations skills necessary to lead project teams without position authority and to support Kraft Heinz’ business interests with the customer.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work productively in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to design- sell- and implement creative supply chain solutions for KHC and our customers
  • Must be advanced in Excel and PowerPoint
  • ERP system experience preferred- SAP ideal
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record for achieving consistent / positive supply chain results
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a supply chain related field
  • Highly resilient with results driven attitude
