Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN (secretarial duties)
WORK LOCATION: Teleworking – occasional stay in the North
STATUS: Permanent full-time
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Director of Professional Services
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
Functions
The person is responsible for the administrative processes of the PSD and contributes to optimal office performance. He/she prepares, greets and supports professionals during their stay in the facility at all points of service. She is also responsible for the management of PSD dedicated transits, i.e. allocation, maintenance, inventory. She is responsible for the administrative and legal processes related to the application of the Institutional Custody Protocol. In addition, she provides the necessary documentation, maintains and collaborates with the various authorities (RRSSSN, MSSS) in the performance of her duties. She will support her colleagues in their respective tasks as needed.
Qualifications
DEC in general administration, accounting and management techniques, bureautique techniques or another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the competent ministry, or a diploma of collegial studies (DEC) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or an attestation of collegial studies (AEC) of eight hundred hours or more combined with experience relevant to the field in question. In the absence of a candidate with a DEC, a candidate with a Secondary V diploma with significant experience in a related field may be considered as an administrative agent;
Two (2) years of experience in the Health and Social Services Network or in the legal field in a similar position or any other relevant experience;
Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken), knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;
Thorough knowledge of the following software: Microsoft 365, Office suite;
Knowledge of Petal and Logibec eclinibase is an asset;
General knowledge of the Quebec health system (RAMQ, MSSS, ...) and/or of the laws and regulations governing the application of an institutional care or a care order (LSSSSSS, LPP, CCQ...);
Great autonomy, initiative, management of priorities, sense of organization and responsibility;
Ability to adapt, analytical mind and proactive attitude.
Note: The person must be available to work in Kuujjuaq occasionally.
While in the North, the person will be housed by the employer in a transit accommodation if the situation requires it.
Conditions And Benefits
SALARY: Min. 847.00$/week Max. 1131.20$/week
