Administrative Technician - Payroll (Telework) 2000-468

Temporary full-time position (35 hours/week)
PLACE OF WORK: Telework. Note: The person must be available to work in Kuujjuaq occasionally, if necessary.
STARTING DATE: To be determinated
Functions
Individual who is mainly responsible fo the codification, preparation and distribution of the paychecks. Is also responsible for compiling data and prepraring reports as required.
Qualifications
DEC College diploma, administrative technique. In the absence of a candidate with a DEC, a candidate with a Secondary 5 diploma or an attestation of collegial studies in a related field (min 800hrs) may be considered as a Class 1 Administrative Officer. The applicable salary range will be that which corresponds to the candidate's level of education;
Minimum of three (3) years of pertinent experience in payroll administration;
Knowledge of the Health and Social services network, is a major asset;
Knowledge of CARRA and end of year process, is an asset;
Knowledge of the computerized pay system Logibec, is a major asset;
Bilingualism essential in French and English (spoken and written);
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
Discreet, initiative and autonomy.
