Job Description

Join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health & Wellness team at Wilder in providing clinical service delivery that supports our community's mental wellness, critical to Wilder's mission of improving lives today and for generations to come! We are hiring for a full time Administrative Specialist to support the front desk at our Outpatient clinic. This position will provide administrative support to program managers and staff and coordinate the client appointment process, including initial referral, intake, opening, scheduling and closing clients. Support data entry of client information and other data management or report requests. Serve as primary contact for clients regarding program information, and provide backup support for other admin staff. Assist supervisor with implementation of new processes and procedures, attend staff meetings, and complete projects or other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a HS Diploma plus some specialized admin/clerical training, and a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required. AA degree and experience working in a mental health or clinical health care setting preferred. Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, and ability to become proficient in an electronic records system. Intermediate typing skills and knowledge of general office procedures required. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to adapt to meet the needs of a diverse team and clientele. About Wilder The Amherst H.
