Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE HR ASSISTANT POSITION – FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE
THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.
The role of the Administrative HR Assistant is to provide support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative HR Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Roles & Responsibilities Will Include
  • Recruit and onboard new hires including running background checks, state badging, and scheduling trainings.
  • Assist with employee recognition events.
  • Greet and assist onsite guests.
  • Ability to take minutes for meetings and employee reporting.
  • Updating job boards with current job openings.
  • Manage the employee benefit process.
  • Plan and schedule appointments and events.
  • Support all aspects of administrative operations, payroll and Human Resources.
  • Tracking and ordering supplies for the office.
  • Perform all other office tasks as needed.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls.
  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
  • Support all administrative functions.
  • Assist and support CCC state and federal compliance.
  • Maintain organized filing systems.

Qualifications And Education
  • MA Notary a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability and consistency.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting while maintaining focus
