We are a private vocational school based in Jersey City, New Jersey, specializing in work-based learning for adult education in the fields of Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Merchant Mariner, Graphic Design, Logistics, Customer Service, Digital Competencies, and Media Production. We currently have an opening for an In-person Administrative Coordinator.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Manage budgets.
  • Copies and/or duplicates materials as requested; may oversee day-to-day operation of copy machine; may prepare and transmit facsimiles.
  • May run various routine errands, as required, for the unit/department.
  • May order, stock, and distribute office supplies.
  • May perform specialized services of a routine clerical/administrative nature in strict accordance with established procedural guidelines, as appropriate to the position.
  • Establishes, maintains, processes, and/or updates files, records, and/or other documents.
  • Performs a variety of routine assignments as appropriate to the position; may operate a personal computer to draft basic correspondence, enter data, and print letters, labels, reports, and/or other materials; types and mails form letters.
  • Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to department staff/faculty.
  • May schedule or assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and/or conferences, as appropriate to the position.
  • Answers telephones, routes calls, takes messages, and provides general information; greets and directs students and visitors; answers routine inquiries; maintains log of inquiries as required.
  • Communicate with staff and students.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Creating and executing schedules.


Qualifications


  • You must have a pleasing personality.
  • Good communication skills and organized.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Experience with the same industry is, a PLUS but not required.
  • Preferably Someone can drive.
