Job Description
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that prov program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Administrative Assistant will be performing the daily office management, clerical and word processing functions to support the Project Engineers and Construction Managers.
The work assignment will be in Guam.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate development of project plans and manage them from inception to completion
  • Organize and implement formulated policies and procedures
  • Monitor all moving parts of the project keeping them synchronized and moving forward
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Set goals, provide motivation, and thoroughly support your project team members
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute all necessary project materials
  • Provide customer service to those contacted during work
  • Undertake research and analysis on specific issues as required
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Attend all project meetings and take notes
  • Strategically create project plans, creating a timeline and setting benchmarks
  • Communicate pertinent information between management and staff
  • Assist project/construction managers in all administration functions and processes
  • Analyze data and processes to look for and better understand problems
  • Collaborate on project presentations
  • Responsible for the interpretation/application of federal and state regulations, memoranda of understanding and city policies and procedures
Qualifications To Be Successful In The Role
  • Degree in Management or in any relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal
  • Managing multiple and changing priorities at once.
