ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
The incumbent of this position performs clerical support in order to ensure efficient and effective operation.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist staff with typing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks as requested.
- Act as primary switchboard operator by coordinate incoming calls and assisting callers in a pleasant and helpful manner.
- Maintain order in lobby, copy room, and break room.
- Greet public in a pleasant and helpful manner maintaining professionalism.
- Sort incoming mail and disperse to appropriate staff.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
- Demonstrates interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.
- Send outgoing faxes and distribute incoming faxes in a timely manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse workforce.
- Possess capacity to multi-task and skilled in accuracy.
- Exceptional knowledge and skill in switchboard operation.
- Skills working with office equipment (i.e fax, copier, printer, scanner, etc).
- Skills working with Microsoft Office Applications including, but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma with courses in secretarial or business practices

Employment Requirements
- All training requirements including Relias Learning at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record and abuse/neglect.
- Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
